I love to go a wondering......
Jan. 5th, 2005 08:11 pmToday I went to York with Edy to shop and walk abt. We had a wonderful time looking at the cute shops around The Shambles and then we had a small lunch at the place near the market- sorry, I cannot remember the name. Then we went to Big and tall Sally and browse through the sales racks. Saw this gorgeous bustier too (almost fitted but not quite, boo-hoo! Edy got some very nice stuff from there! Oh before Big and Tall, we went to The Hat Shop and had fun trying on some of the very weird hats in there. E wanted a hat for the skiing trip they are going to in France later this month. Wished I had a digital camera coz some of the hats made u look like u had an electric shock or have a knobbly head. Definitely cool! Had a good laugh in there and E bought a purple fleecey number that had this "ding" on top. ;) U will know what I mean if u saw it! Oh, fav shops were the jewellery shops. One of them had blue amber- soooo very pretty. And they also had some really dark green amber too. I have seen green amber b4 but these were fab! Depth of colour was faaaantastic.:)
Then we went to Lakeland Ltd and looksie at the stuff there. I bought a bacon rack for the microwave which was reduced to 95p and exercised great self control not to buy anything else. One was am saving money for when my friend gets here and the other is that I have NO space for anymore kitchen stuff. :( (I need to declutter again.)
Came home back on the 4.20pm train and got home at 6pm. Oh, and it HAD to rain when we left for the train station in York. :)
Gotta go, he is being stupid again. Argh, men! :(
