Movie and stuff
Jul. 23rd, 2006 11:55 amThursday was a busy day, went out lunching with J and her friends, then went have a looksie with them at Decathlon and then a browse at JOhn Lewis where I got some gorgeous fabric remnants for a project. Wohoo!
Then came back just b4 5pm and sort some stuff out b4 heading to belly dancing with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
agent_snow and longrat! Good class but damn it was so hot that as soul_rider described, it feels like one could end up as a puddle at the end of class!
Came back and have a shower, Paul was suppose to bring back chinese take away from Happy House but they were shut!! Till 31 July!!! Aaaaaaaargh! So had fish and chips b4 dashing off at 9.30pm to meet Sarah Kelly, her parents and her friends at Grindstone pub for a drink as she was graduating on Friday. Was great meeting her parents! Left at after 11pm and got home abt 11.20pm. What a fab fab day!
Friday- Lazy day- was far too hot to do anything, so just did some house stuff instead.
Saturday- Watched Stormbreaker, it was disappointing, but Jimmy Carr, Stephen Fry and Bill Nighly was pretty amusing- just their facial expressions is funny. Loved Bill Nighly's response to why he was suspicious of Darius Snayle- "we are *suspicious* of everybody." Typical MI5. But I keep expecting Bill Nighly to sprout his tentacles at his face and go Yarrr!! :) Anyway, pity the movie was not very good, could have been interesting other wise. Still, air conditioning was good in cinema! :)
We also did some stuff in town, I bought some stuff from the Next Sale. :)

May. 20th, 2006 10:37 amI have been fairly non computer friendly this week, only coz I think I should do other stuff rather than mooching in front here. :)
Tuesday- It wasedy_ 's b-day so we went to Yulgrave for lunch and then Haddon Hall with Medic and B and soul_rider and Evie. Was a brilliant day! Oh yes and Misty the dog too! Then we went to Ecclesall Woodland Park for a walk which was very pretty. All the bluebells are up! Walking down gigantic stairs to the stream felt what it must be like to be B size when everything seems that huge! Hehehe! Then had edy_ over for dinner b4 heading off to watch Ice Age 2 (yes, again for me!) along with Megan. Definitely a good and enjoyable day! Can we do it again?? :)
Wednesday- Made space in the kitchen alongside with old fridge freezer for the new swanky one. Tidy tidy! :)
Thursday- Woke up at 6.30am as the slot of delivery given (checked the nite b4 by phoning the number given) was between 7am and 11am. Yikes! Anyhow, it was delievered at around 9.30am, not too bad although the Curry sales person said to make sure they unpacked the appliance before signing the delivery sheet. Noticed in the copy of delivery details given that the deliver ppl have to unpack the stuff for customers and deliver item to the room you want. Anyway, when I asked if they could unpacked it for me, they weren't too happy abt it, but did it anyway- grudgingly. I thanked them nicely and off they went, leaving me to poke around (hehe) the new fridge freezer and tidy up the huge box and packing materials. Our old fridge freezer certainly look very timid and scared of the bigger bad ass looking newbie next to it. Waited all day for the non delivery of a parcel that I have rearrange the delivery time for today. *sighs*
Belly dancing on Thursday was very good and enjoyable. I think everyone have come a long way (& made plenty of progress!) and it is more comfortable performing in small groups now. Definitely happy that I took it up. Although, am not sure if I wanna take an exam..... not just yet anyway. :)
Friday- woke up at 7am and called post office depot. The nice man apologised and made sure it came out that morning as the previous person I talked to on Wednesday did not put my parcel for redelivery. Got a care package from mum which was cool! :) Went to water plants at allotment with Paul before heading to get fish and chips for dinner.
Sat- er, I am up but he isn't yet, so am mooching till he does. :)
