Happy B-day, hubby! :)

It's his 29th b-day this year! :)

He has taken the day off but will be unfortunately roleplaying tonite (boo hiss!) and this morning he got woken up to his b-day cake I made last nite, cup of hot tea in bed and a big card from me. :) Oh and hugs and cuddles too. :D

Made him a Japanese Sakura/Cotton cheesecake for his b-day cake and he liked it! Yay!

Off now to do something exciting for his b-day now. No idea what but am sure we will decide on something.

Oh and my cookie exchange update...

It is now December and I really need to send off my cookie parcels to my friends around EU and US. Gah!

The idea behind this is that instead of trying to buy and send small gifts which could be Xmas tat (well, let's be honest here, it is the season to get something weird judging by what is on offer by the retail sectors), we send home made biscuits/cookies/cakes. Mainly biscuits/cookies (I know I know, this is Britain and one does not use the term COOKIES) :) since they are lighter and could travel better.
So I send them some and they send me some so at the end of the Xmas season, I should and they should have a variety of sweet treats to last them just abit through the festivities. Good idea, no? :)

So, I need to remember to get some padded envelopes today.

Also need to check abt US regulations on sending care packages with home made treats.
