What we did yesterday!
Dec. 7th, 2005 02:29 pmWe walked to town which was great since the weather was nice and sunny and not too cold.
Having been entrusted to take him out somewhere nice to eat and something not chinese, I suggested Las Iguanas at West One. Now that was a brilliant idea. Brazilian/ South American food- what a change from our usual! You remember Las Iguanas, don't you,
soniaafroz? That was where we stumbled into 3 years ago! Well, their lunch menu was good value- 2 courses for £7 and Happy hour drinks on some cocktails, alcohol and non alcoholic drinks- 2 for 1. We had a lovely lunch their, yummy, not overly stuffed but full and erm 2 cocktails each. We had the Caprinnhas (might spelt it wrong here)- which was stroooong and raspberry martinis - very girly and chic. And I was on my way to be merry much to his amusement. Haha! Free entertainment. Definitely will go in there again esp if my mate
ariadne_red ever comes up so we can drink girly drinks and start being all giggly! Oh, he had the nachos for starter and Huevos Rancheros (looks yummy) for main whilst I had the beautiful grilled sardines with lemon and salsita which was spicy and perky for starter and Carne- rump steak with salad and casave fries (love the fries!).
Anyhow, he had a great time which I am really glad. Then we wandered around town b4 heading back at 4pm. Had a quick dinner at 6pm b4 he headed out to roleplay at Hugh's and I headed out to see my friend's sister at Tapton Hall with some Malaysian food since she was terribly sick of hall food and crave home cooked food. Stayed there longer than I was expecting but it was a good laugh!
And there is abit of b-day cake left...... MmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm!
