Quick update
Apr. 18th, 2005 12:26 pmAn update on what we did over the weekend. It was a long weekend as Paul took the day off on Friday to look for some jobs as the redundancy date looms near.
Watched the following movies- Melinda and Melinda (short film but feels very loooong, it is ok, interesting concept, but had abit of a drag in the middle) and The Interpreter which was a longer film than we thought abt 2 hrs 10 mins but dind't feel that long. It was quite good, not alot of special effects like other films, but very watchable action thriller.
Also watched bits of Enemy At the Gates on Sky movies and that made me sad even more after watching the genocide isues in The Interpreter. I guess we are lucky where we are - we have stability and luxury. Makes u think harder abt the bigger picture.
Read a book called "How to Cook a Tart" which was not a girly book despite its pink cover and is quite funny in a weird dark way. And no, not a dessert tart, I may add. :) Did give me very odd dreams though.
Previous weekend b4 we watched Be Cool and Sahara. Preferred Sahara. Be Cool had some funny bits but was far too dull in most places. Sahara was quite silly (as expected but enjoyable silly) and funny.
There were other movies that we have watched for the past month and abit that I have not mentioned like Constantine, Hitch, Robots and other stuff that I have probably forgotten abt.
