I made a Malaysian delicacy called otak-otak. It is a fish steamed or grilled in a spicy coconut and eggs mixture. They are wrapped in banana leaves. Ingredients incl: white fish pieces, shallots, lemongrass, candlenuts, chillies, kadok leaves,garlic, galangal, shrimp paste,salt, pepper, fresh tumeric and kaffir lime leaves. I steamed one lot and grilled the other lot. Was really good! Paul said it was as good as those back in Malaysia where he last gorge himself silly on otak-otak. The consistency is of a souffle spicy savoury custard when steamed. Yummy! :) Here are the pics:
