And it is all over... I miss her...
Jan. 21st, 2005 07:50 pmShu Yin left for London today and is off home tomorrow morning from Heathrow. She was here for Sat, Sunday and part on Mon and then Thursday. Had such a good time and am soooooo sad to see her go. Put her on the train in London and we did the waving hankies and silly faces when it was time to go. She loved the January sales and suits at DP were really cheap. For a whole suit in the buy one get one free, it is £10 which is abt RM$73. It is pretty cheap for a good lined jacket and trousers. I bought abt 7 items in the sales when she was here so far - hehehehe. (oops, sorry Paul!) ;) But she nearly bought the whole shop!! She was pretty scared that she might have to pay excess luggage. But with my clever packing skills, everything fitted and everything is ok. We stayed up till 1am last nite.
She really liked Sheffield and has vowed to come back in again so we can do more outdoor stuff like walking in countryside etc, oh and shopping too. :) She is an outdoor person so it will be nice to plan a walking route in the Peaks and have a picnic or something like that.
We both were sooooo disappointed that the visit is all over and I am so sad it is too. I miss her coz being with my old friend again has reminded me so much of my past and I was back at being M'sian again with a silly humour (very bizzare to a Brit) and funny accent (funny how u lapsed back to your old ways so easily). And when you have a kindred spirit as a friend, it feels so great to see one another again and just spend time catching up, being silly etc. Hope it won't be too long till we next meet up again!
My tummy feels bloated. I think I have laughed far too much. I am abit sad too.
Paul said we are watching Team America tomorrow and that I will be laughing again... Goody! :)

Oh another thing.
Jan. 21st, 2005 08:31 pmOur 8th anniversary of us getting together was on 19th Jan. Woh! 8 years!! :) Love my baby lots.... May we have many more to come.
He has given me lots of hugs to cheer me up. I hate saying goodbye to ppl I care dearly for esp those I know I won't see for a looong time. Am abit homesick too. This sux. Have to go home soon to sort out a Smartcard we have been told to do by M'sian gov to replace our old id card. Argh, hope they are not gonna penalised me for being late. Joys of being a foreign national abroad. Pppbth. My passport will be expiring in Nov. Here we go again to High Com in London soon and paying £150 to Home Office to restamp my passport. *sighs*
Apart from that, I am ok. (Now if I could just somehow move UK closer to M'sia for a couple of months in a blink of an eye.) :) Too cold up here. Brrrr.
